Yo, Bump steer sufferers-
Because your wheels travel in arcs rather than purely straight up and down,
you get bump steer. One simple way to help minimize it is to make your
steering tie rods parallel to the ground when the car is at rest, e.g. by
shimming the steering rack mounts. Getting the tie rods static parallel
should minimize your steering changes due to bump AND droop because then the
wheels won't get pulled or pushed in or out as much than if the tie rods
start out at an angle (i.e. the wheel distance to the car centerline goes
with the cosine, so think of minimizing the derivative of the cosine (the
sine), thus get the static position at zero, i.e. parallel to ground). The
dynamic suspension geometry is of course not so simple as I'm implying, but
