I had the same symptoms years ago.=C2=A0 Leak in the vaccuum going to the P=
CV valve.=C2=A0 I'm betting that's the issue.=C2=A0 Or possibly a bad PCV v=
alve, but I still think it's=C2=A0 a bad line going to the valve.=C2=A0

Ok, so I got the vacuum advance sorted and reset the timing, etc.=C2=A0 But=
now there's another issue.

The car starts and warms up normally, choke opening, temperature gauge comi=
ng up to the thermostat temp, etc. But then it starts surging at idle.=C2=
=A0 Accelerating, driving both seem fine.=C2=A0 But when it goes back to id=
le, waiting at a stoplight or something, it starts having these little dips=
, which soon become larger dips, to the point where it stops.=C2=A0 It rest=
arts right away, then does it again.=C2=A0 At a stoplight I have to left fo=
ot brake so that I can keep my foot on the throttle to keep it alive.=C2=A0=
=C2=A0
=C2=A0
Here's a video I shot in the garage as it started to do it after warming up=
