In general, I believe the transmission is painted the same color as the =
engine, which could be black or blue dependent on when the engine was =
assembled. Everyone should carefully examine their transmission for =
traces of original color and note any markings.
The B19KC engine group could have black for the spring 1965 assembly =
time or blue for the Oct. 1965 assembly time.

I=E2=80=99m not sure the early Borg Warner transmission were painted.
