Were they the standard rubber bushings, or were they the urethane? The las=
t recommendation I heard was to use the urethane bushings with new, upsized=
fulcrum pins. The center section of the bushing is removed and the urethan=
e rides directly on the thicker pin. I=E2=80=99d think a special washer wo=
uld be needed on the inside points.
Additionally, a modified A-Arm is drilled to accept Zerk fittings to grea=
se the bushings. The angle is rather peculiar to drill the holes. Tom Hall =
(I believe) made, or sells(? ) a jig to do this. I made my jig out of hard=
wood with acceptable but not ideal results. I also used the black urethane=
bushings but since I have the very early Derik White supplied fulcrum pins=
from Africa (not upsized) I needed to retain the bushing steel center piec=
e. Unfortunately 19+ years on jackstands so I can=E2=80=99t attest to the =
durability?

So what is the consensus on replacement bushings for the A-arms? The last s=
et of rubber ones didn=E2=80=99t last 8 years, three of which the car was i=
n storage. They were from Rick.
