Dan Sorry to hear that. It depends on the base paint on the car and whether it is fresh paint or aged paint. Clear coat is generally very tough and will withstand lacquer thinner or acetone. Lacquer or enamel paints are softer and need a less aggressive cleaner like alcohol, enamel reducer or a Pre-Sol paint cleaner. Goo Gone might work, polishing compound or you may need to use a 1500, 2000 or 3000 wet/dry sand paper and then polish the paint. CAUTION: always try any liquid cleaner product in an obscure point to make sure it does not make things worse. Not Tiger or Jensen Related My son called me to say his car got tagged. Is there some way to remove the taggers paint from the cars paint without damaging the cars original paint? Any suggestions welcome.
