As someone who has the original Ignitor in another car, I also recommend the improved Ignitor II. It takes a conscience effort to remember NOT to leave the key on when the car isn't running. I'd also recommend with the original Ignitor to have a sliding/coupling connector on the red wire. That way, for the times you need the key on without the car running you have a quick way of disconnecting the Ignitor. As a side note, cars with a resistance wire (as opposed to a balast resistor) should be wired back to the ignition switch (hummmm... wonder how I know). Do keep the points system and necessary tools in your Tiger. While the Pertronix is generally reliable I recall a few Tiger owners having issues and with the points available it allowed them to keep their car running. Lastly I recall some concern regarding aftermarket coils. That issue being the resistor matching the coil. If purchased as a set that problem should be a non-issue.
