4 post lifts are not good for wheel and brake work but for everything
else they are just as good. And mine let me keep my second Tiger
by making my 3 car garage into a 4 car garage!
Now they have a rolling jack you can get, I would get it. Its just like
the pro alignment lifts so you can easily work on the wheels and brakes.

Subject: Re: [Tigers] 4 post lifts
My experience is that a:
2 post lift requires you to kneel down and position the lifting arms. I
also disliked the posts being in the way of the door. X lifting arms block
most of floor. I am too old and fat to squeeze out windows or partially open
doors.
4 post lift, you drive right on, step out, raise car. Tires on runners, so
an additional lifting device is required to raise the tires off the
runners. I have such a device.... no problem.
I also need to roll the lift around. 4 posters have dolly wheels and
inherent stability.
Thank you for all of the advice. I will be buying one soon. I like the
Backyard Buddy and the Greg Smith. I can pick up the Smith as it is much
closer.
