Joe, you might check with Sunbeam Specialties, for what it is worth. They do
not list installation clips for that trim in their online catalog, but I have
found sometimes they carry stuff that is not listed. Since they sell the trim
you are installing, maybe at least they have some suggestions on the best thing
to use to install it.

Yes, there is a slight curve to the trim piece. I got lucky and was able to
feel where the original holes where from underneath and then I used a small
drill bit to come up through them. I knew I was in the right place because
I didn't hit anything but paint and bondo. For fasteners I guess I will
find some nylon screws that fit.
Thanks,
Joe

My trim piece is not straight, it has a slight curve tapering back
from the center..

Joe
I believe if you run a straight line across the opening at the body
sheet metal, set the finisher inboard on that line; the fastener holes will
be at the center line of the finisher.
There are only 4 fasteners. Difficult to get at the Front of my Tiger
right now but the center 2 seem to be about 4" from the center of the grille
and the outer ones seem to be about 4" from the ends.
The part numbers for that finisher and the side mouldings fasteners are
different but that does not mean they will not work. I used a butterfly
style clip with a nut to hold mine down. I have the number for that clip
somewhere; I just need to look for it.

Subject: [Tigers] Lower Grill Trim
Hi,
Can anybody send me a good photo showing exactly where the lower grill
"finisher" trim sits on the front valence? When body work was done on my
car the holes were filled in and I can't find where they were. From digging
through the archives I found that this piece of trim uses the same fasteners
as the side trim. But I'm not sure how many fasteners there were.
Thanks,
Joe Brown
