it's a compression fitting. B when I replaced this line with stainless 3/8
pipe, I got a brass compression fitting adaptor from a plumbing place in the
uk. B 

I recommend draining the tanks first. B I didn't bother and got 2nd degree
burns from high octane fuel soaked into my rolled up sleeve.
