Ross, I checked out the site thank you. I'm not sure exactly how to calculate the thermal conductivity, but steel is listed as 46.0 and glass (the closest I could find to ceramic) was 1.05....a huge difference. But, in the calculation thickness also seems to play a very big part in heat passing from one side to the other. I know that any coating on headers is going to be extremely thin. I would love to have some scientific mind find the thickness of the ceramic coating and actually do a calculation. That is beyond me.
