It's not that they were poorly designed, its that they were meant for a Alpine
with a lot less horsepower. If you remount the panhard bar, you may want to
move the chassis bracket to the other side like they did on the later MKII.
Although, if your rear axel is ready to be reinstalled, you will probably pass
this part because you will have to cut off the old bracket and weld on a new
one.
I saw a Tiger at the Sunbeam Invasion that has a quad mount shock on the rear
axel to control wheel hop. Two shocks vertical and two mounted horizontal.
Now thats a interesting solution to the problem. My Thunderbird Turbo had
the same set up.
