I have the Motorsports adapter on my Tiger, and it makes things much
easier. I use the Motorcraft FL400 filters (Fram PH3600) commonly
available at Walmart, etc.  These have the same thread, gasket size,
pressure specs as the FL1A (PH8A) standard filter, but the diameter is
smaller.  I didn't grind that bit off the motor mount, so the larger one
will not fit.  

I'm just down in Wrentham, so you are welcome to come see it anytime.
