Thanks for the help with the steering wheel. After getting the old
(crumbling) wheel off, the new one slid one now problem. At first I
did not mind the lack of adjustment, but am missing it more and more.
I will scratch my noggin and come up with a solution.
However, the cat has been behaving badly. Drives great and then at
some junction all power cuts. i allow the car to sit and later on it
starts back up. I check things like fuel system (new), and electrical
ignition system (new) and no avail. however, I have a new wiring
harness and have been itching to clean up the engine compartment by
hiding all the wires and increasing fuse and relay count. So I will
put the cat to sleep for a while and replace the wiring harness. Any
pointers? Also I currently have a ford type alternator but am
contemplating switch to a 'one-wire' GM setup to remove my voltage
regulator - any thought?
