I didn't see an answer from anyone on the spacing so I checked my
Tiger. My Tiger, an early MKIA, was banged around some before I bought it
so hopefully these numbers are at least still close to the factory positions
but I can't guarantee that.
Front Fender from front fender edge
1 1/4" 7 3/4" 14 1/4" 20 3/4" 27 1/4" 33 3/4"
Short piece front fender from rear fender edge
1 3/8" 2 15/16"
Door from front edge of door
2 7/8" 9 3/8" 15 7/8" 22 3/8" 28 7/8" 35 3/8" 41 5/8"
Rear fender from front edge of fender
1 1/8" 7 15/16" 14 11/16" 21 3/8" 28 3/8" 34 13/16" 41 3/4" 48 1/4"
I don't know which holes are for the studs, non were left when I
bought my Tiger. One of them holds the short front fender piece. I'm
using the plastic clips available from Sunbeam Specialties to hold the trim.
Try to locate as many of these holes a possible from the back side of each
panel; I believe you should be able to find all of them that way.

Looking for information on the placement of the side trim holes. The holes
on my car were filled up. At first I thought the holes were welded up but
now I am not sure about a lot of them (bondo, pop rivets and a bolt or two
fill the holes).
I want to add the trim back on so I was hoping to hear from people who are
in the process of restoration and have the trim pieces off so I could get a
count of the number of holes in each of the panels (front wing, door, and
rear quarter panel) and the spacing of the holes...if someone wouldn't mind
taking measurements for me. I may or may not end up being able to put the
holes back in the factory position but if I have some measusrements I can go
from there. I can easily see a number of holes in each of the panels but not
all. And it appears my Tiger had a nose job at some point in time since the
holes stop midway over the front wheels.
