The problem I had with my horn has not been mentioned. I am surprised, because it is the most frequent failure mode. Check the horn contacts inside the steering columns (and the turn signals as well). The open air contacts carry large current and are unprotected from arcs, and debris. I would seriously consider a horn relay (or square Bosh fused relay module) for both headlamps and horns. This can be mounted near the voltage regulator, and the power can be fused.
