hard top color?

Greetings from New York.  Can someone tell me (or check the book of Norm for
me...)what color is original for a 1966 Mark 1a Tiger hard top.  The car is
Carnival Red.  I have one I need to paint.  I've seen black, white, and red. 
White with a red car looks good, as does red on red.  But in any case, I prefer
to go original.  

PS - any words of advise or wisdom before I get the hard top painted?
