Rodney and all...
I think that is carrying things a little too far.   To trademark such a 
generic name as "survivor" as it relates to cars seems ridiculous to me.  These 
guys will go bankrupt if they try to go after everyone who uses that word in 
describing cars.  I would think that if they don't go after most users then the 
trademark becomes worthless.
I blame the government for allowing what I think is foolishness.
