It is unlikely that powder coating will conceal a crack. Small cracks by nature are difficult to see till they become a problem. This is not a problem that has occurred in our business, but rather it is the application of powder coating, cermakrome and porcelain coatings that reveals cracks the customer does not see at the time they bring the part in.
