Just a question for the readers to comment on. Does the trend towards powder coating every piece and or epoxy painting, introduce the risk that future fatigue cracks and or rust will be hidden by the coating? I know that all pieces that are being checked for cracks should be done before sand blasting as the blasting media may hide a crack. Let the discussion begin. Dave |
