Hi Cliff,

I've had several good experiences with JetHot and their Sterling finish. I've 
coated both new headers and used headers. The used headers may have 
imperfections from the years on the road. Additionally, the removal of rust 
prior to 
coating may also leave imperfections in the metal thus translate to the final 
product.

The cost is approximately $250/set plus shipping both ways, so JetHot is 
expensive but they have a good system and they are quick and reliable.
