Re: 289 Hipo Crankshaft Identification

  It would be interesting to have a bunch of 289 cranks lined up and struck
consistantly. Recording the individual "rings" with a program such as Sound
Forge would reveal the waveform the "ringing" makes and any difference could
be measured in the frequency. It would be great to have a bind test and see
if "It's live, or it's Memorex."
