You guys!!! You have to read the fine print >>>"to be better than the
original Shelby Sunbeam Tiger"<<<, that is why the car has questionable
characteristics!!!
All kidding aside, this is a Florida car and I was wondering if this car is
in some way modeled after James Barrett's Mark II. Did anyone notice the
"four wheel drive" statement under Options? If you look at the engine
picture (the one noted with the missing VIN tag) you will see just below the
alternator a silver universal joint. As best I can tell it "looks" like the
rack (or something resembling part of a rack) is forward of the of this
joint. Hummm..... nothing more is said about 4 wheel drive in the
discription.
Also of interest is that an OPTION is listed as "convertible" which could
leave one to suspect that this is a rare GT model but that couldn't be for a
1966. At least to the purist (in terms of discription) it creates confusion.
I would assume those are "improved over original" rivets on the JAL plate
too. It will be interesting to see how this one pans out.
