Note the photo that shows the engine. In the lower left corner you can see
the three rivet holes for the (right side) of the VIN plate and the spec
plate. There is another photo that shows the two plates installed.
Inquiring minds may ask why the VIN plate was removed. This alone does not
brand it as an Alger, but it does beg for a closer look by the experts.
