I have managed to replace one of my rear wheel studs on the car. I used a slightly shorter stud, picked out at a local auto parts store, but I believe it to be the same as the 68 Chevelle that I had at the time. I have LAT 70 wheels, and I still get plenty of thread engagement, but the end of the stud is about even with the surface of the wheel, and it is difficult to get the lug nut started.
