The ID of that tube is .330" and the thread is 1/2" x 20, which is
the thread size for the 5/16" nut on the original line. You maybe able to
buy another 5/16 nut and gently open it up to fit 3/8" tube. Have you
checked Earl Supply for fittings?

The fitting coming out of the fuel transfer tube is half inch. Does anyone
know the internal diameter and whether there is a fitting that threads on to
this that might permit me to mate up a three eights fuel line to. If
possible a Half inch line would be even better but I am not sure if the
fitting will support that. Anyone done this before?
