I now have one of the modern solid state fuel pumps on my car. It runs
virtually all the time and I don't like it. The old style suited me better.
With that in mind I found one in JC Whitney made by Walbro, they make EFI
pumps also and good ones at that, that is for carbed cars. It looks a lot
like the old SU units that originally came on our LBCs. Fixed pressure at 4
1/2 to 7 psi. Anybody using one of the units? If not what can I get that
only pumps on demand? Says it has a 32 gph flow rate (enough for about 330
hp at 80% duty cycle). SInce my car is bone stock cept for headers, this
should work should it not? Comments? Directions, gripes, experiences?
