Unfortunately the TR and Tiger calipers are not the same. Very close but
not the same.
They are both the same model number but the TR calipers have mounting
holes that are 1/4" further apart than those on the Tiger.
If it wasn't for that we would have another source of parts.
Two vs four pistons doesn't automatically give any greater braking power.
It only works out to be greater braking power if the total piston area is
greater.
I'm curious, are some of you Tiger owners out there having dificulty
locking up your front wheels when slamming on the brakes?
I always felt that the front wheels locked too easily. Torque limiting of
the front brakes never seemed to be a problem
