Yep, that's them. I was about to order from Moss - I think you told us the
part number a few months back, but I decided to call Rick first just to see.
I think they may have been a few $$'s more than Moss, but I would always
rather put money in the pocket of Rick, or Kurt, or the other specialists
who help us all so much to keep these 35 year old cars on the road....
A friend was hit head-on last week at 60mph by a lady who crossed the
median, and the next day I hit a deer (in my Stealth) that jumped out of
nowhere. Got me off the dime to get the 3 pointers. Anyone know where the
airbag mounting points are?
Great article in the New Yorker a few months back by my favorite writer,
Malcolm Gladwell, about the history of safety measures in cars since the
60's, and how they were all pretty much derived from the belief that you
could never get people to wear seat belts. Article describes how seat belts
are the key, though, and could have saved the US billions if we hadn't
listened to Ralph Nader. I'm now embarrassed to say that I worked for Nader
back in 1970 or so, and can back up Gladwell's observations.
