Duhhh. I guess that shoulda been obvious enough. Thanks, Steve and all
else who responded.
Dr. Moonstone wins the old two-point belts. Those, and the three-pointers
were purchased from Rick at SS. Both are stamped with Beam 600 on the
anchor-clasps. Same as from Moss, Steve?

Chris,
Stick your hand un the inner fender panel of the rear wheel. The one
that bulges into the rear parcel shelf.
You will find a protruding bolt screw. Reach your hand over (top
down/off) to the same place on the other side and you will find a soft
spot that depresses to touch the head of that bolt.
Use a sharp razor and make a small X in the center, and assure you've
got it right. That is the factory plastic screw-in plug for the shoulder
belt mount. Gain access to the head and unscrew it.
The shoulder belt end hardware should screw right in. Mine was from an
MG-B replacement from Moss Motors, and separately adjusts length at that
mount. The hook to hang the belt does not allow the belt to hang, like
the factory one did, but this one is black, well built, made in USA,
new. The OEM NOS was purple with age, and the strength would be in
doubt, so I recommend this Moss version.
