RE: Discrepancies and the CA DMV

I bought my MK1A in CA, and the title said 1965 Rootes Roadster.  They
refused to correct it when I tried to license it in VA....Kinda same story
as Steve - the PO took TBON to the DMV to prove it was manufactured in 65 in
order to get the smog exception.  Now I'm stuck with it.  At least the VIN
is correct, but one fine gentleman in a blue uniform had to check the VINs
on the side of the road after not believing that the registration matched
the car....
