Just a side note on your question: I attended the 26th annual Shelby
American Automobile Club event weekend before last in Charlotte (there was a
poor showing by the Tiger crowd, only 3 of us!). When I had the opportunity,
I asked Carroll Shelby to sign a piece of Sunbeam memorabilia. When he
recognized the Tiger piece, he fondly reminisced about the cars. He reminded
me that he still owns two.
While some of the SAAC members snub our little "poor man's Cobra", the Man
himself does not!!!
