Every year here in Tulsa, OK what may be the largest gathering of Shelby
cars occurs. It is the Mid-America Shelby Meet. Folks from all over the
country bring in their cars....Cobras, Mustangs, Tigers, and Panteras. This
has become more of a Ford high performance meet. Anyway Tigers are always
welcome here and there are always some present at least for the car show
function....I have no idea if they take them out for the road course or drag
racing. It is a 4 day event well worth attending if you are into Shelby
cars.

Subject: What do Shelby folk think of Tigers
Hi Everyone
This might be a silly question but I was wondering if a Tiger would fit in
with a get together of Shelby cars? I know about Shelby's involvement in the
development of the Tiger, but that's all I know. I just heard that Shelby
will be the featured marque at this years Historic Grand Prix at Watkins
Glen in Sept. I always go to the event anyway and thought it would be fun to
park with the featured cars. Will I be welcome?
