I'm well aware of the method. As a retired Snap-On dealer (with no great 
affection for the company) the unit offered was intended to accomplish the 
same thing, less deformation and warping and less structural change 
(crystallization) in the metal due to heat. Both methods work! I do apologize 
for saying that your method is exactly the same. What I meant to indicate was 
same result.
