Gene, what I saw in your photos was very similar to my own restoration.
You are smart to completely strip the car, as this will make it easier
to do the work, and will also uncover those hidden areas. A rotisserie
is a must for this type of work.

I would suggest that you find a Alpine that has the front valance and
frame rails intact, and hopefully the drivers rear seat area as well.
You will probably have to replace the drivers foot well area. The Alpine
will provide many parts that you don't even know you are missing for the
future.

When you are ready to do the frame rails, I can walk you throught this.

I did notice that the left front fender may have been worked on, as
there appeared to be a piece of metal on the inside of the fender, which
is a common hackers way of adding a front clip. This may not be the
case, just the angle of the photo.

I also noted that someone took the engine out from the top, as the
firewall is dented, where they hit it with the engine. This area can be
straightened from inside the car, if you take your time.

After it's back from the dip shop, take a look at the front rear spring
mounts to see if they are cracked at the body. Very common on hard
driven Tigers, with weld on trackson masters like yours. This can be
welded and reinforcements for added strength.

Let me know if I can help further, as this is very similar to what I
did, but yours appears in better shape in certain areas.

Larry
