Steve,

Regarding the mounting of a 7" Girling servo into a Tiger that
had a 5" servo.

The Mk II used such a servo size. The major differences are
that the strap welded between the firewall and fender is in a
slightly different position, and the vertical strap the
connects to the side of the servo is bent over instead of
straight up. Another difference is that the inlet connection
uses a formed metal tube over the booster, with the hose
connection on the engine side, and you have a banjo fitting on
the fender side going to the same vacuum port. This is not as
good a fit, but it will work.

You can use the 7", with a few mods. Ditch the strap around
the unit to the firewall - there just isn't any room for it,
and it isn't needed. Bend the original vertical strap (or a
new one) over to about 30-45 degrees. The key is to rotate
the booster so it sits as low as it can between the fenderwell
and the firewall, and as low as it can go. Getting at the
attach bolts is tricky. The rubber hose and banjo can still
be used, but it's tight.

I could send you a picture, off the list, but you can't see
any of the brackets.
