I didn't remove my radiator either. I also just used a standard box wrench. The radiator core will do a great job of skinning your knuckles. Somewhere I found a 6 blade steel fan. I think I ordered it from somewhere. The center hole was too small so I took it to a model/mold maker who reamed it to exactly 1 inch. To bad Ford's shaft was + a few thousands from 1 inch. A few passes with a reamer provided the exact tight fit. It clears the rack by a good 1 1/2 inches. |
