Folks,
So, is there a valve built into the
Tiger gas cap that allows venting and prevents
liquid gasoline from spilling out on hard
corners with the tank mostly full?
I do know that the hose between the
two tanks is not an external vent.
Any good ideas on how to repair
or replace the cork gasket when it gets old
and no longer keeps the gasoline from spilling
out. I prefer not to damage the pot metal
rivets that hold the gasket/valve? assy
to the chrome cover.
I have tried to glue thin cork
gasket to the old gasket, but the glue
always fails due to the nearby gasoline.
