Just in case anyone missed it, Bryan Whateverhisnameis who does the
Rice Boy page is, himself, of Korean extraction. He believes--and so
many agree with him--that you can play the race card "if you are one."
Thus, I can make fun of all you wild and crazy Anglo-Saxons and all
you Rednecks and all you Shitkickers without fear of retribution....
Bryan Whateverhisnameis has a couple of Rice Rockets himself and loves
'em to death BUT he thinks that Rice Boys--people, no matter their
ethnic background, who try to make their rides LOOK fast without doing
anything to enhance their performance--are more than somewhat goofy
and--this is the neat part--Bryan Whateverhisnameis thinks those Rice
Boys are bad for the racial stereotype that HE (Bryan
Whateverhisnameis) has to live with.
Bryan Whateverhisnameis, by the way, builds a pretty cogent case for
the real Rice Rockets NOT being such hot performers when their
performance is compared to other hotties on a dollar-per-hotness
scale. (I submit that the Tiger stacks up pretty well on this sort of
basis.)
I think that the page was pretty funny stuff, particularly the
"Readers' Response" portion where all the other folks of Asian
Extraction were calling Ol' Bryan Whateverhisnameis all sorts of
REALLY nasty names for daring to point the fickle finger of fun at
them. I mean, the nicest thing these dudes promise is that they are
going to perform unspeakable acts on his mother, girlfriend, sisters,
his dog, his parakeet, and his own cold, dead body after killing him
long and slow...
