I would rather not say the name of the seller, as to prevent any legal =
action or threats (as per my atty's suggestion), but I feel strongly =
that we need to get this out in the open..

********************************************************************

-Get a hold of a copy of the Uniform Commercial Code. Planned mis-representation
of goods sold is a clear case of fraud, and not only is it a violation of UCC
statutes, but the seller faces both criminal & monetary penalties as well.Truth
in advertising, etc.

-Been there, done it; sat in on the court proceedings a time or two over UCC
disputes. The judge wouldn't have a problem deciding this issue with Norman's
book in hand,& having Norman or the other Senior TAC inspectors on-hand for
expert testimony.

-The "seller" of this phony MKII wouldn't have a chance.......go ahead and
publish who it is so someone doesn't get burned. We owe each other that much.

-I believe the underlying "motivation" of the TAC program is to protect the
marque by identifying "non-TIGERS" while maintaining the value of our cars from
dilution by "counterfeits". Personally, I'd love to have a "conversion" for a
daily driver, and keep the genuine article for "true-TIGER" events. Besides, 99%
of the Z-28 & Firebird street-racers wouldn't know the difference anyway.

Phil in CA TAC # 066.
