If I recall correctly, the TigerII back up light switch is a stock
Ford item. It is a "push to connect". The 1/4" thick side plate of the
original
4 speed shifter extends down and then is bent at right angle (cross wise to
the Tiger).
A D shaped hole roughly 9/16" dia. is used to mount the switch.
The switch shaft lines up with the lever closest to the transmission.
This lever moves back when going into in reverse gear and pushes the shaft
of the switch in.
I have a HURST 4 speed shifter # 503-0031 that I was able to mount
on another Ford toploader. This shifter does not have the mounting
facilities for the stop light switch. A separate bracket could be fabricated
to mount a switch.
I can't tell if you are thinking of ordering a shifter or a switch.
I hope this helps.

HELP!
If any one has an original glass lense for a Tiger II stock backup
light I would like to procure it. I was working on my tail pipe one day
and for some readon the hammer hit the lense and not my thumb on the tailpipe.
Anyone ever figured out how to remove and replace the backup light
assy. They seem to be buried in the rear lower panel that is apparently sealed.
