Al,
As a founding member of the Four Cylinder Club of America, and the MG
Car Club of America (Los Angeles Branches) in 1951, I could vouch that
the MG owners of that era would be happy with a Pentagon, Septagon,
Octagon, or even Hexagon, as long as it had 8 equal sides. Perhaps two
of us even knew what geometry meant, much less the more complex shape
names beyond triangle and square. Pretty good, actually, when we started
with 8 members, most of whom just wanted to drive. {8->
