You might take a look at the mid 60's Jag E-Types. They used an
foil covered Asbestos panels between the Ceramic and VERY HOT headers of
the big six, and the Clutch and brake master cylinders. One may be
useful for insulating the heat from the clutch slave and hydraulic line.
