The 67 Tiger II also had an eggcrate grill, rounded headlight trim
instead of the "eyebrows". Also had an alternator in place of the
generator. Also had SS wheel-well trim, a SS trim strip down the side
under the door. The Chrysler emblem is also a good sign. The
transmission has a lower first gear than the early Tigers. My
Tiger II has Tiger script on the rear of the trunk on the driver's
side. A Sunbeam V8 badge is on the passengers side of the rear
of the trunk as well as on both sides of the front fenders under the
Tiger scripts ( just in front of the doors). I don't have the numbers
handy but the Tach and speedometer had different part numbers
fron the older Tigers. The Tiger II Tach redline is higher than the old
260 Tigers.
I sent 260 and 289 block numbers on this list a few weeks ago.
If you need the numbers send a request and I will send them again.
By the way, there were 10 to 15 copies of your message on this
list. once or twice is enough!
Jim Barrett Tiger II 351C and others.
