Keith;
-Thx & amen. We all need to be tolerant of each-other's
perspectives/backgrounds/imperfections.
-Again, I'm sorry for "abusing" the list. I agree that it's nice to
"know" the person behind the E-mails. I probably will never meet 95%
of my fellow TIGER enthusiasts in person. This is the next best thing
and sure is better than nothing.
-Having this whole "TIGER universe" at my fingertips after we bought
our car has been a very pleasant surprise and has been very rewarding.
-From conversing with a Pacific Coast member in Japan to meeting TE/AE
members out here on business to dining with CAT & SOG members in the
"southland" has just been incredible.
-Again, I will refrain from abusing and deviating from the intentions
of this list and I apologize to anyone who I may have
un-diplomatically offended.
Phil

Gee Phil:
Get serious and Grown-Up already!
After all, if we had bought these 2 seat overpowered
rain-vulnerable, miserable heating, no air conditioning,
hard to find parts, light weight (dangerous in a crash with
anything bigger than a breadbox) automobiles for fun then
we surely wouldn't have this very serious computer system
for just comparing impressions and perhaps letting the
other drivers know what our personalities are too!!
Perhaps the adult way would be to not think of ourselves
as DRIVERS, but as OWNERS!!!! Ahhhhh, that explains the
attitude.....we would never abuse our tax-free investments,
and we totally frown on this "joy riding" stuff where you
just add depreciating miles onto your INVESTMENT going nowhere
in particular when you should be deciding whether Patina is
a good investment approach or not.
Seriously, I have read stuff from LeBrun for a while and
it is interesting to occasionally get a glimpse of the personality
behind the cars.
These are frivilous vehicles and I have found a sense of humor
and a tolerance of imperfection to be the best tools to
use on the preservation of these funny little cars.
(Perspective helps too)
regards
mBrad
