When I was doing the same thing to my series IV, I never got that far,
since I was never able to locate a usable rack. However, I do seem to
remember that the tiger had a small relief stamped into the fender
support (on both sides for right hand drive cars), that allowed for the
clearance of the u-joint and shaft. Did you change the front cross
member to the one that is used on the Tiger? It has the low cut-away
for the Tiger rack to mount it quite low. Are you using the stock tiger
Steering column? I still have mine from way back when. Just curious,
what engine are you using?
