Or just try another employee on another day. When I registered my Tiger, the
first employee said that I had to turn in my original black plates. She was
ADAMANT that this happen before she could register the car in my name.
Something about new laws regarding license plate readability for the Highway
Patrol. So... I came back the next day and went to another employee. I
didn't mention anything about the plates and everything went right through...
