While I can't speak from race experience. the EN-16 I've got now came out of a 100,000 mile engine that had a brief stint in the Atlantic ocean before it ended up in my hands. While the rest of the engine was trashed (now rebuilt), the crank was in stunning condition. I had it taken .010 under because of 1 small scratch. Otherwise it magnafluxed fine, and was straight after what was probably a life of abuse. It's in a "warm" streetcar now, balanced and pulling close to 7,000 RPM regularly. |
