Now that things are starting to look up relative to the pandemic, it's time=
to get out and start doing some things again. So far this year, I personal=
ly have been to one vintage sports car racing event and one British car sho=
w, and now I have planned a three day driving tour for classic Minis throug=
h the mountains of southwestern Virginia for late May. While there are many=
other motorsports related events on my calendar for this year, I wanted to=
mention just the following two events that I will be attending with my Bug=
eye which may also be of mutual interest to other Spridget owners.=C2=A0=C2=
=A0August 13-15: VSCDA Vintage Grand Prix at Grattan Raceway in Belding, MI=
.This event will include the VSCDA Summer Party and the Season Finale of th=
e Sprite/Midget Racing Series of which a certain number of racers who frequ=
ent this site participate in.=C2=A0Let's get together at Grattan with a=C2=
=A0nice turnout of Spridget street cars in order to meet, greet and cheer o=
n some of our friends.=C2=A0Grattan - VSCDA=C2=A0=C2=A0September 10-12: The=
30th Annual British Invasion in Stowe VT.This is one of the long standing =
granddaddy's of all east coast British car shows, and never fails to delive=
r the goods for any British car owner or enthusiast. It's a fun filled mult=
i-day event which is embraced by the entire town of Stowe including its res=
idents and businesses. One of the featured marques at this years show will =
be the Austin Healey, so wouldn't it be great to see a whole bunch of our S=
prites on the show field.
