[Spridgets] Tach question [LBC!]?

I haven't had much luck with the RV1 tach in the Mk 3 Sprite Mk2 Midget so
am thinking of putting the later tach  guts into the RV1 can. I know Frank
swapped different tach internals around. Whats the site for him doing so? Is
the later tach guts worth the swap or should I use parts from somewhere
else? I'm using Datsun "match box" electronic ignition BTW.
