Made, assembled and manufactured all have different legal meanings in the
UK, I think. Same sort of issues with food if you buy foreign meat but make
it
into a pie in Britain you can say British pie or something like that.

is a certain percent of the manufacturing done in the country.
BTW, don't take this as me saying that just becasue something is made in
North America that that necessarily makes it a higher quality.
